Our pectus system is based on the Nuss procedure and modified by Professor Par’k MD., Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon from the Catholic University of Seoul- Korea.
His innovated surgical technique consists in unitizing and stabilizing bars, preventing displacing and friction against tissue and bone. The surgical technique is also based in using single and multiple bars, adopting the use of crossing multiple bars if necessary. To complete full sternum reconstruction in obtaining the best sternum remodeling rib-cage structure, a sandwich bar methodology can be performed as well.
